The ASOPRS room block is effectively sold out (a small number of rooms are still available on Thursday, November 12 at $158). Reservations made at this point are over and above ASOPRS’ contracted block and you will be charged the prevailing rate. If it’s important to you to stay in the headquarters hotel, we encourage you to check the Caesars reservation link for updates as there will be cancellations;  cancelled reservations made in the ASOPRS block will become available in real time, until the cutoff date of October 13. TARGET AUDIENCE: The ASOPRS Fall Scientific Symposium Meeting is developed for all interested physicians and related health care personnel including, but not limited to, oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeons, otolaryngologists, head and neck surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, dermatologic surgeons as well as general ophthalmologists. The meeting is also designed to be of interest to physicians in training and allied health personnel.

Dr. DeLorenzi is internationally renowned for his cosmetic surgery practice, which incorporates a special interest in high technology solutions in order to ensure better, safer and more efficient procedures. He is the Founder of the Canadian Laser Aesthetic Surgery Society and internationally recognized as an expert on fillers.  Dr. DeLorenzi will speak on Vascular and Nonvascular Complications of Fillers.

This award lecture will be given by an ASOPRS Member who is honored for longstanding contributions in the field of cosmetic surgery.

Moderated panel discussing the newest dermal fillers, nuances of injectables, latest techniques in lights and lasers and optimizing aesthetic treatments based on age group and skin type.


GUEST SPEAKER James T. Rosenbaum, MD

Dr. Rosenbaum is a professor and chair of the division of rheumatology at the Oregon Health & Science University where he holds the Edward E Rosenbaum Chair for Inflammation Research. Concurrently he is chief of ophthalmology at Legacy Devers Eye Institute where he holds the Richard Chenoweth Chair. He is the author of nearly 500 peer reviewed papers and book chapters mostly relating to ocular inflammation. His awards include the Friedenwald Award from ARVO, the Distinguished Clinician Scientist Award from the American College of Rheumatology, the Alcon Research Institute award, and the Gold Medal from the International Uveitis Study Group Foundation. He is the head of the Orbital Inflammatory Diseases Consortium. Dr. Rosenbaum will speak on Personalized Medicine for Orbital Inflammatory Disease

Hollywood's Perspectives on Beauty and Aging

Mr. Brett Ratner is one of Hollywood’s most successful filmmakers. Brett began his career directing music videos before turning to directing and producing major feature films, such as Rush Hour, Tower Heist and Hercules, as well as Emmy®-nominated documentaries and Golden Globe-nominated television series. Brett co-founded RatPac Entertainment, a film finance production and media company, in 2013. RatPac also finances the development and production of Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment. Brett is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and Museum of Tolerance and serves on the Dean’s Council of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He also sits on the boards of Chrysalis, Best Buddies and Do Something.

Paul S. Nassif, MD, FACS is a world-renowned facial plastic surgeon in the Beverly Hills whose work has been featured on numerous international and national television and print media. He has been featured on such programs as ABC World News Tonight, CBS Morning News, CNN, MSNBC, NBC Evening News, EXTRA!, VH1 and Discovery Health. Dr. Nassif has also been quoted in such publications as the New York Times, Associated Press (world-wide), USA Today, and Los Angeles Times, among others.  He is currently one of the co-stars of the reality television series Botched.
