Our professional staff consists of two ophthalmologists who provide medical and surgical eye care with one surgeon American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) certified, doing a large volume of oculoplastics and cosmetic procedures. The University of Vermont's Department of Surgery and its academic medical center, Fletcher Allen Health Care, has an outstanding opportunity for a board certified or board eligible ophthalmologist.  This individual must have completed a board approved 3 or 4 year ophthalmology residency, a clinical Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program and be eligible for a medical licensure in the state of Vermont.  This position offers: highly competitive income guarantee, incentives, and comprehensive benefits package with academic rank at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  This is a full-time 12-month, salaried, non-tenure track appointment.

Dryden, MD, FACS at the Arizona Centre Plastic Surgery is looking for an associate to practice eye and facial plastic surgery in a community of 1 million people serving a much larger area.  The office facility is beautiful and is located near a major community hospital.  An Arizona state licensed and Medicare approved outpatient facility is located within the building.  Tucson is a vital community with outstanding weather, a leading university with great athletics and a surrounding area that is available for the outdoorsman.  The opportunity to learn facial or general cosmetic surgery in conjunction with practicing is also available. I am in a situation where I would like to start phasing out of practicing functional medicine and taking more time to travel thereby allowing the new associate the opportunity to develop this practice.  The individual should have completed an ASOPRS fellowship and be interested in developing a large practice over time.  The opportunity to be involved academically is probable based on the individual's interest with the University of Arizona ophthalmology residency based in Tucson.
