The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences has an opening for a full-time tenure or non-tenure clinical track faculty member in Oculoplastics, Orbit and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic. Applicants must have graduated from a fully accredited ophthalmology residency, and be eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa.
Subspecialty training in oculoplastics is required. Candidates must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

This solo practice has been established in the community for 34 years.  Adjacent to Porter Hospital, we enjoy strong referral support from over 80 regional colleagues.

 

The practice performs over 350 cases per year, generating $600K in net collections, working 3.5 days per week. The practice is currently yielding a pre-tax physician annual income of c. $440K.  Excellent staff are expected to stay on post-transaction. 

 

Looking for a compatible, well-trained, progressive new owner.  Successful candidates for ownership should have completed an ASOPRS fellowship and be an ASOPRS member.
