Fall Scientific Symposium

The ASOPRS Fall Meeting precedes the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Annual Meeting and is open to members and non-members. The 57th Annual Fall Scientific Symposium will be held October 8-9, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans.

Registration will be available in June 2026.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Members received an email on 3/25/26 with abstract submission instructions. The deadline is Wednesday, May 6 at noon central. 

Abstract submission is open to members only. At least one ASOPRS member must be a co-author of each abstract. 

Non-members may be the first/presenting author. 

Industry abstracts may be submitted. Industry abstracts are developed by or with influence from industry. They are separate and distinct from the ASOPRS ACCME-accredited CME program. If accepted, they would be included as a narrated presentation (voice-over PPT) and available online-only before, during, and after the meeting. An ASOPRS member is required to be a co-author. HOTEL & TRAVEL

Hyatt Regency New Orleans 

 Reserve a room at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans at the ASOPRS group rate of $355/night plus taxes and fees. 

The ASOPRS room block is for Tuesday-Thursday nights. If you are staying Friday night and beyond, please make a reservation with ASOPRS for Tuesday-Thursday and a separate reservation for remaining nights. This helps ASOPRS meet our reservations commitment with the hotel.
